Ayurveda means the “Science of Life”, which it indeed is, but vastly unexplored. This ancient science of medicine with its roots in India dating back to 5000 years ago, is known to have healed even the toughest of wounds and cured the most life-threatening diseases in the past, but with the advent of modern-day medicines that heavily rely on lab-grown chemicals, this gem of a scientific medicine practice was long ignored or forgotten.
But not anymore as we at JAP Herbals are keen and determined to bring back the wisdom and knowledge of ancient Indian practice of using herbs for medicinal and wound healing through our products.
Our research and development
Led by our founder-promoter Dr. S.P. Adeshara, who is a former FDCA chairman with 42 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, R&D and its regulatory affairs, our team of researchers conducted an in-depth study of various Indian herbs mentioned in Ayurvedic scriptures to be used in healing wounds and various skin related disorders. The team further researched multiple antiseptic and herbal products available in the market which claimed to heal wounds. But turns out, these products only protected the wound and the healing process of the injury remained natural but painfully slow.
This is where JAP decided to stand out and develop products that not only protected external injuries, wounds and skin problems but accelerated its healing too. All this with the major use of powerful medicinal herbs and no harmful chemicals which usually cause various post-medication side-effects on the skin.
Our Products –Rovaxi
While we have many products under research and development, our flagship product Rovaxi is one such product, which is an external application wound healing antiseptic gel, created using various Indian medicinal herbs after 3 years of extensive clinical research on various subjects and conditions. Further, microbiological studies were conducted to ascertain the efficacy of its antiseptic formulation using various strains of pathogenic Bacteria, Fungus and Moulds. The formulation was found to be highly effective, capable of eliminating almost all micro-organisms within 24 hours’ exposure time.
Rovaxi Plus Gel & other products
This gel-based product with a stronger formulation from the earlier. This product is highly effective in healing first and second degree burns, cuts and wounds, abscesses, diabetic wounds, varicose ulcers, fissure, fistula, vaginitis, dermatitis and sores too.
JAP Herbals is also currently developing an herbal Galactogogus product that improves milk secretion in lactating mothers. We are also working on a veterinary product with similar properties to improve secretion in milking animals too.
